How is everyone’s supply doing? We have about 1/3 of a Costco pack and some industrial rolls I was able to score off of Amazon a couple of weeks ago.

I went to Costco just as the Great Toilet Paper Hoarding was beginning. I saw people with 4, 5, 6 Costco packages on their cart. So I went ahead and grabbed one, though we didn’t really need it at the time . Even with 5 people in the house, we still have three 6-packs plus the unopened pack I bought almost four weeks ago. Those people who hoarded Costco paper will have paper to last them for years.

I still don’t really understand why TP was being hoarded 2 weeks ago. I could live without toilet paper. Food... not so much

We’re good. We have a dozen rolls of Charmin and then we have some off-brand stuff that my wife got at Costco, though we did give a couple of packages out of that to my SIL. She was down to half a roll and we couldn’t leave her hanging. Didn’t give her the good stuff, though.

I bought a 36 pack at the end of Feb. I couldn’t remember if I had TP or papertowels, I still had 1/2 a big pack and dropped off 12 rolls at my sisters , but now out of papertowels.

Have never worried. The convenience store at the edge of the hood sells 2 huge rolls of charmin for $3 and always in stock. Hell thats almost 2 weeks for me and two kids. Wish i needed smokes and beer that often!

Ah... so you got ripped off by one of the TP hoarders who resells it on Amazon.
Note that there is no TP shortage. You can get more of it from any Costco or Walmart again these days.

I grab TP on my regular Sam’s run for dry goods every so often. I’m peeved that the TP hoarders threw off my rhythm. We’re good though. I tend to buy the big packs so I don’t have to do it often.

Try going when the stores open. In the Pacific NW Costco has long lines even before opening time, but WinCo has no line and 12 packs at opening time. Your results may vary.

Based on the price, I don’t think so. It was a bathroom supply company that sells through amazon. Paid what looked to be fairly normal rate for the quantity.
I’m probably going to check out Costco on Monday. We need berries and a rotisserie chicken anyway.
